Hopefully the photos will show the rolling hills and interesting target settings that comprised the Open.

All in all, it was an enjoyable experience.

Nothing in Kentucky is flat. It is comprised of ridges and hollows and Elk Creek took advantage of the terrain when setting targets. The targets were clever, nothing too far, and certainly ate us for lunch.

The place is huge and was well spread out. The staff at Elk Creek knocked themselves out to cater to our every need and want. They couldn't control the weather, and that complicated things a few times.

As you can see from the photos, the parking was a bit of a challenge, but we made use of a neighbour's relatively flat lawn, and for $5 a day, she was glad to share it with us.

We had a blast. Hope the pictures do it justice.
