Skeet & Trap / Hendrick Hudson Fish & Game Club / June 13-14, 2003
The Second annual Police and Fire Olympics were held for Trap & Skeet Shooting at the Hendrick-Hudson Fish and Game Club. Competitors must be full time, publicly employed or honorably retired as a Police/Peace Officer or Firefighter.
Shooters in attendance from the Plattsburgh Rod & Gun Club were; Terry F Aubin Jr., Joey Rice, Phil Lamarche, & Dave Lahah. Other shooters from the local area were also present.
Skeet: Phil LaMarche "B" class and Dave Lahah "C" class each won a Bronze medal in Skeet doubles. Dave works at the NYS Dept. of Correctional Services, Franklin Correctional Facility and Phil is a member of the Plattsburgh FD.
Trap: Team Captain Terry F Aubin Jr., and fellow NY State Troop B Policemen Joey Rice, Stephen Weightman, Rob Knowlton and Mark Finley won the team Gold medal for handicap at 21 yards, shooting 202 out of 250.
Joey Rice won trap Gold for B Class singles with a 93 out of 100. Rob Knowlton won trap Gold for B Class handicap with 46 out of 50, Phil Lamarche (City of Plattsburgh FD) won the trap Silver for Class B handicap with 46 out of 50, and Mark Finley won a bronze medal in trap for Class B handicap with 45 out of 50.
