2003 World FITASC Championship / Sporting Clays Talk Internet Party - July 10, 2003
Posted on Sporting Clays Talk Board by Greg "farmer" Lepper: It was great to meet so many of you at the party. Some highlights for those who couldn't make it: Spencers venison and wild turkey, Scott Hilpert's pheasant and "golf-course goose" and Claythorne set us up in a "cool" shaded area. Thanks to Pierre from Montreal who originated the idea and Dick Graf who made it happen. Freida was able to attend, looking somewhat like a rose among a bunch of thorns. Beer drinkers outnumbered wine drinkers--possible due to great variety offered from around the world. Wayne Nelson, in his shirt and red, white and blue tie, appeared to sweat less than most of us in light-weight shirts. We had a great contingent there from Illinois. Henry wasn't the "lone Canadian" since there were other neighbors to the north there. Cyril didn't seem grumpy at all. Randy Travalia and Dave Peckham took a break from setting targets in Minnesota to attend. Even Alvin, webmaster of this site showed up and didn't censor anyone. I know I've left out a lot, but that one variety of ale apparently affects one's memory.
The boys!
