Florida - 2004 Sporting Clays |
Quebec shooter Henry Nachaj vacationed in Florida this past winter and provided the following. Quail Creek is one of the premier shooting and hunting club that I have ever visited. It provides exceptional friendly service in a very exceptionally clean environment. They have 2 Sporting Clay fields, both are automated with two machines per station. The Red course is geared for the average shooter. This 14 station course has beautiful shooting stands with a rest area and water at each. The Blue course is set for the avid target shooters. Each station has two automated machines. The target presentations range from the deceiving flight to deceiving distance and of course distance (some targets had that time delay before breaking!). This course is no “Skeet-in-the-woods”! This is also one course that a golf cart is useful as the total length of the 14 stations is one mile. They have gun and golf cart rentals. They sell ammo. They also have Quail, Turkey and Deer hunting. From what I heard, the hunting is booked solid a long time in advance. This club is highly recommended for all novice, intermediate and experienced shooters.
